Sundar Pichai's Family
Sundar Pichai's family came from humble beginnings.  He was born in Chennai, India on July 12, 1972.  Sundar's full name is Pichai Sundararajan.  His mother, Lakshmi Pichai, worked as a stenographer prior to having children.  Sundar Pichai's father, Regunatha Pichai worked as a senior electrical engineer for the British conglomerate General Electric Company (GEC).  Sundar's father also managed a factory that produced electrical components.

Sundar Pichai's family  grew up in a two-room apartment with neither a television nor a vehicle.  Sundar and his brother, Sreenivasan would usually sleep in the living room.  They did not have a telephone connection until Sundar turned 12.

Sundar Pichai's wife is Anjali Pichai.  The two dated in India before she joined Sundar in the United States.  The couple have have a daughter and son.  Sundar Pichai's family live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Larry Page announced that Google has become part of a parent company called Alphabet Inc.  Google's co-founders, Page and Sergey Brin stepped out of their positions with Google as part of the deal, appointing Pichai CEO.

Life of Victory
Prior to being appointed CEO, Pichai was a senior vice president at Google, overseeing the company's Android mobile operating system.  How does an individual without phone connection for the first 12 years of his life end up becoming senior vice president of one of the most successful companies in the world?
