10 Facts About Future-President Hillary Clinton







On Sunday, April 12, 2015, Hillary Clinton announced that she would seek the presidency for a second time, immediately establishing herself as the likely Democratic nominee.

ONE
Hillary Clinton has the opportunity to become the first female President of the United States of America.  Many people still think of Bill when they hear the name Clinton, yet Hillary’s future is bright and if she becomes the next President, she will surpass her husband as the most popular Clinton.

TWO
Hillary Clinton has never let her gender limit her accomplishments.  She wrote NASA when she was a child requesting information on how she could become an astronaut.  NASA replied, explaining that they did not allow females in their programs.

THREE
According to The Daily Signal, when Hillary Clinton was a child, she also dreamed of becoming a baseball player or a journalist. 

FOUR
Hillary Clinton – Keeps on pushing.  In 2008, her party did not nominate her.  President Obama also rejected her as his running mate.  Clinton has not given up and continues to rise against the odds. 

FIVE
Hillary Clinton won a Grammy award for her 1997 spoken word album: It Takes a Village.  Clinton’s book shows that she truly cares about America’s youth.  She was a great mother as proven by the success of Chelsea Clinton. 


SIX
When she was younger, Hillary developed a baby-sitting business that serviced migrant Mexican workers.  Along with never allowing her gender to limit her success, Clinton never used her age as an excuse.

SEVEN
In 1988 and 1991, Hillary was named one of the most powerful lawyers in the nation by The National Law Journal.

EIGHT
Hillary Clinton simply will not stop.  She could have ended her career in politics after her husband’s presidency yet she decided to propose her health plan.  Then she of course ran for Senate and was victorious!

NINE
Hillary Clinton was the first First-Lady to have a postgraduate degree.  She maintained a successful career as a lawyer prior to the White House.  She graduated from Yale Law School in 1973.  In 2000, she became the first First Lady to be elected Senator.

TEN
Hillary Clinton loves to swim.  She considered renovating the indoor swimming pool of the White House and moving the press to a new facility.
