We have all been in and out of love memories that remind us of special experiences.  After putting your all into a relationship divorce can seem like the worst thing that could ever happen.  Strong emotions typically arise on both sides.  Here are three ways to cope with divorce.

Divorce Advice - 3 Tips

ONE
Handle Your Memories
Following a divorce, many feel the urge to hide objects that serve as reminders of the marriage.  Choose to remember the good and allow the bad to dissolve.  If you get rid of the objects you are also throwing away the positive memories.

"Memories are the key not to the past, but to the future." -Corrie Ten Boom

TWO
Surround Yourself with Friends
Surrounding yourself with family and friends is vital for wellbeing.  When you are feeling alone and vulnerable run for the safety of a friend.  A true friend will make you laugh a little louder and is able to see the pain in your eyes when you are smiling.

"In poverty and other misfortunes of life, true friends are a sure refuge." - Aristotle

THREE
Keep Yourself Busy
Many of us shut down when we face difficult times and a divorce can be one of the most difficult times in a person's life.  Be creative in order to keep yourself productive.  Dwelling on the negatie will not make the situation better.  Focus on new goals that you can accomplish.

"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." -C.S. Lewis
